Ha Ha Harvest Festival: Opening Night Film Block
Are you ready to laugh out loud at the first ever film block of the Ha Ha Harvest festival? Join us on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 9:00 PM at the McMenamins Mission Theater for a night of hilarious comedy short films from local and international filmmakers. You’ll get to watch a variety of short films, documentaries, animations, and web series that will tickle your funny bone and make you smile. Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet and chat with some of the talented creators behind these films in a Q&A session after each screening.
One of the highlights of the night is the premiere of The Rooms, a Portland-made TV comedy series providing a glimpse into the darkness and joy that accompanies drug and alcohol addiction (yes, there is joy!). Written and directed by Portland filmmaker Rosa McKenzie. You won’t want to miss this exclusive sneak peek of the pilot episode, which is sure to be a hit with the audience.
