VHS Vengeance is Portland’s longest running Live Movie Riffing Comedy Show.
Each month or so, hosts Michael Garcia, Aaron Wagner, & Avalon Leonetti roast the best worst movies from their own VHS collections. Featuring movie riffs, stand up comedy, contests & much more.
Prior to the main feature there will be a short VHS Vengeance pre-show of movie riffing and an introduction to the other works by the director's.
One of the most over the top Hong Kong films ever produced, Lam Ngai Kai's 7th Curse may be even more gonzo than the director's very own Ricky Oh: The Story of Ricky.
This movie follows the "story" of a doctor who travels to Thailand to save a woman from being sacrificed by the Worm tribe, and along the way he meets dueling tribal sorcerers, ninjas, reporters, weird anal demons and Chow Yun-Fat weilding a rocket launcher. We guarantee you have never seen anything like it.
